Ron Paul implicated in White Supremacist plot to overthrow Caribbean government

Newsone has done it again, digging up an old NY Times article from the 1980s that mentions that implicated Ron Paul in a White Supremacist plot … in cahoots with his good pal and founder of Stormfront Don Black

Add this one to the pile of connections Ron Paul has with Stormfront founder Don Black.

Sometimes the absurdity of reality is just  too much. This is one of those times. LOL!!

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/28/11 – Newsletter’s opinions on Civil Rights mirror Ron Paul’s current opinions

In a January 10, 2008 CNN interview Ron Paul described Martin Luther King as one of his “heroes”. This was part of his defense against charges of racism that came out during the 2008 Republican Primary season. See the quote below:

The point is, when you bring this question up, you’re really saying ‘you’re a racist, or are you a racist?’ The answer is no, I’m not a racist. As a matter of fact, Rosa Parks is one of my heroes, Martin Luther King is a hero, because they practiced the libertarian principle of civil disobedience and nonviolence. Libertarians are incapable of being a racist because racism is a collectivist idea: you see people in groups. A civil libertarian as myself sees everyone as an important individual.

Remember that in 2008 Ron Paul described Martin Luther King as one of his heroes. His newsletter — and record — suggest otherwise.

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/27/2011 – Sticking up for Andy Rooney

I had gone through many of these newsletters and took notes on some that I thought were special. For some reason I read today’s excerpt but decided to pass on it until I read The Advocate’s recent piece on it. Today’s newsletter demonstrates the homophobic, racist, and paranoid nature of Ron Paul as well as his lack of understanding of the AIDS virus.

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/25/2011 – Spamming, 1980s style

This is perhaps the best example I can find of Christmas cheer in Ron Paul’s newsletters. In his May 1988 Investment Letter, Ron Paul’s newsletter encouraged his readers to send money to someone other than Ron Paul, and then give the products they received to others presumably as gifts. To clarify, since this was before the Internet spamming was possible, the newsletter was encouraging readers to “buy and distribute 50, 100, or even more” copies to get the word out. This was to support the widow of a deceased Conspiratard icon Gary Allen, not to be confused with the country singer Gary Allan.

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/24/2011 – Newsletter reads like a straight-up White Nationalist publication

Today’s excerpt is a newsletter that reads as if it might have been penned by noted White Nationalist and former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke. I won’t bore you with much commentary for this one. The newsletter speaks for itself and, frankly, it’s quite disturbing. I’d put it on the short list for “worst newsletters published by Ron Paul”. Merry Christmas to all!

The Ron Paul Saga Continues: Proof of Ron’s insanity spreads while the Cult remains clueless

This fall Ron Paul tried to inaccurately paint himself as a man who “stood by” Ronald Reagan, as part of an overall plot to appeal to the mainstream Conservative Republican base. It didn’t take very long for one of Ron Paul’s rivals to release Ron Paul’s public letter that trashed Reagan in 1988. While looking through the newsletters that were released in recent weeks by The New Republic and other sources I saw numerous examples of Ron Paul trashing the Republican icon. I will leave those for a later episode of my Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpts of the Day series. Below I will instead highlight some of Ron Paul’s crazy statements using the Paultards’ most favorite method of spreading information: Youtube videos. Don’t worry, folks, I’ve downloaded these videos just in case they are taken down.

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/23/2011 – Speculation that the US Government caused the AIDS epidemic

Yesterday I blogged about Ron Paul’s newsletter demonstrating a very poor understanding of the AIDS virus and how it is contracted. Today I have another excerpt about AIDS, one in which Ron Paul’s newsletter speculates that the US Government is somehow responsible for the AIDS virus.

In 1995 Ron Paul talked, on video, about his newsletters

Over at reddit I’ve been trying to explain to Ron Paul supporters that Ron Paul admitted to writing newsletters in 1996 first through his implied admission during the Dallas Morning News interview, then again through a staffer when questioned by the Houston Chronicle. This isn’t enough proof for them. Well now we have irrefutable proof that Ron Paul is lying about his newsletters.

Ron Paul Newsletter Excerpt of the Day – 12/22/2011 – A demonstratively poor understanding of AIDS and how it spreads

Yesterday I brought up newsletter excerpts that equated condom access for teens with sex crimes. Today’s excerpt builds upon yesterday’s, so feel free to take a minute to quickly read yesterday’s excerpt if you haven’t read it already

The following passage was taken from the opposite side of the page from the “Chastity, not Condoms” piece. Instead of laying it all out I will break today’s passage, “Avoiding AIDS”, into sections with a short analysis in between.
